Experience
Prior to joining Post Polak, Dean practiced at a prominent insurance defense firm, where he handled matters involving general liability and professional liability defense. This experience provided him with substantial exposure to complex litigation, risk assessment, case strategy, and dispute resolution, enabling him to efficiently guide clients through challenging legal issues.
Before entering private practice, Dean served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Pedro Jimenez, Jr., J.S.C., in the Criminal Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County. In that role, he assisted the court in analyzing legal issues, conducting research, and drafting opinions and memoranda involving a broad range of criminal and procedural matters.
Earlier in his legal career, Dean gained valuable litigation and public service experience through positions with the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office and Daudi & Kroll, P.C., where he developed a strong foundation in legal research, motion practice, case analysis, and advocacy.
Dean earned his Juris Doctor, earning cum laude honors, from the University of Massachusetts School of Law. He received his B.A.in International Relations from Michigan State University, where he concentrated in National Security Policy. His academic background cultivated the analytical and strategic thinking skills that continue to inform his legal practice today.
