Jacquelyn M. Twaddle

Jacquelyn Twaddle joined Post Polak in 2024, as a 2024 graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law.

On behalf of Post Polak’s clients, Jacquelyn researches and analyzes legal precedents regarding a range of questions and issues pertinent to specific matters. She also regularly researches and analyzes the law on complex issues for the purpose of writing memos, arguments, and briefs for submission to a supervising attorney in the firm.

Jacquelyn analyzes and summarizes complicated legal documents, including contracts, and suggests alterations to those documents. She also analyzes and summarizes municipal ordinances across the state of New Jersey, suggesting and drafting alterations to municipal ordinances accordingly. Further, Jacquelyn performs discovery of various electronically stored data and hard copies of information in preparation for litigation. She performs due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions.

Experience

Jacquelyn holds a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she received a Distinguished Scholarship. While in law school, Jacquelyn was part of the Rutgers Law School Name Change Pro Bono Project, in which transgender adults were helped to petition the State of New Jersey to legally change their names. She was also a member of the Irish American Law Student Association, the Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Health Law Forum.

During law school, Jacquelyn was a law intern at a Newark boutique litigation firm, a law clerk at an oncology care management startup, and a legal intern at another New Jersey law firm. She also served as an Ethics and Compliance – Government Accountability Intern as part of the Novo Nordisk Early Talent Summer Internship Program.

Jacquelyn holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and public health, minoring in political science, from Rutgers University – New Brunswick, where she was a graduating member of the Honors College.

Alcoholic Beverage Law & Hospitality

Post Polak counsels national and locally-based clients in the hotel and restaurant industries as well as alcoholic beverage distributors, manufacturers and retailers on a wide range of issues in the alcoholic beverage and hospitality fields. Our practice includes coordinating and processing liquor license transfer applications, license application amendments and license renewals.
