Experience

He has advised clients in all aspects of real estate and other business transactions, including business entity formation, real property sales and acquisitions, asset purchases, leasing and financings. He has worked on a multitude of matters over his career, both large and small, from advising clients on multi-million-dollar transactions to handling more modest deals, such as negotiating a lease for a client’s retail store. Doug also has extensive experience advising clients as local counsel in multistate transactions where expertise on the intricacies of New Jersey law and custom are required.

In addition to representing clients in more traditional types of business transactions, Doug is also involved in advising restaurant, hotel, bar and tavern owners and operators, suppliers and distributors regarding alcoholic beverage law and regulations. He provides counsel with respect to the often complicated and little-known rules and laws governing the distribution, sale and service of alcoholic beverages and the purchase, sale and transfer of liquor licenses. Through his many years of experience in this area of law, he is able to assist clients in developing and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations while meeting their business goals.
